Farewell Ken and Holly

The final drinks for Ken and Holly before they ventured overseas.....safe travels!!!

Moments from the night.....

Fish and Ken

After a farewell smooch it was felt that Ant and Ken should act a little more manly ;)
(smooch pic censored!)

However Fish and Sam can smooch away :)

Not so sure on this one

Ken tries to reassure Fish it will be alright without him (although netball wont be the same)

Me and Ken, the only posse members in attendance...Ed was in Europe but where was Judge? Ken and I came to the conclusion the posse is in recession now. It formerly served its purpose as a lonely hearts piss up group ....for which we are grateful for :) I will remember the apron and vacuum challenge well!

Canadian Lauren (who is just lovely) shares her whistling straw party trick....hilarious!

A New Leaf

A lovely bright surprise from Ant on such a dull day.....I am very lucky :)

Time for a change....sick of the blonde look, needed something warmer for Winter.

Also have kickstarted the weight loss regime again. I actually managed to lose 300g at WW today (total now 12.6kilos), but have been in a slack mode lately, and needed to refocus. With the help of Clayton the ever faithful personal trainer, a new tactic of planning everything in a form of a weekly planner has been done. I have to stop being such a "yes" person, and help people when it is convienient for me, not them. This is to be done by setting times for everything - work, ww, me time, exercise, study, school, other commitments etc. and sticking to them (especially exercise and eating properly!!!) I have found since gaining Andrea's Bio TIC work has become my life, and while I do enjoy my job - it is not on the top of my list of importance. I am going to try really hard to do this. When school starts back - that will be the test!
Harry Potter starts tomorrow...weeeee!!!

Babies!

What a week for the future generation.

Sunday July 1st

- Andrea and Dave had a baby girl (well Andrea delivered it) named Jane Madeline, weighing 7.1 pounds. All are well. Dave has melted, and apparently the labour was pretty quick and came out no hassles. She had a very good pregnancy.

Friday July 6th

- Not only was it my brother Scott's birthday (Happy 27th Birthday Scooter), but it was Ant's God daughter, Caitlyn's 2nd birthday as well. It was celebrated with a wee party on Saturday with many toddlers. Her little sister Milly has grown so much, and both are cute. The cow cake was tops - Well done Fran on making it. My favourite toddler was the kid playing in the gravel. Her mum was quite excited about a birthday party and finally being able to put her in dress. She was glad when she saw her in the gravel covered in dirt....ahhh to be that young again....not a care in the world.

Sunday July 8th

- Catherine Smith who worked at UHC had her baby shower. Unfortunately, due to last minute events, I was unable to go. With such a great sunny day, Im sure it would have been great.

This week should say hello to another wee one...more on that when news comes to hand :)

What a beautiful day

Finally the rain ended. A frosty morning lead to a gorgeous day as seen from these few pictures on the way back from the coast. Why would you live anywhere else?
