Am I a ladette?

Watching tv on Saturday night...okay a tad sad I know to be home but I dont care, I came across a tv programme called from Ladette to Lady. I started to watch it, thinking ha no way Ill be a ladette, and surely more of a lady than a ladette. However the longer the programme went on (and finding it funnier and very entertaining) I started to think maybe Im more of a ladette.
Since being in a relationship, I have calmed down some what, but I still drink like a fish, have no idea of why we have so many knives and forks to eat dinner with (I used to feel for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman), don't really dress lady like and do not cross my legs like a lady. At times the language that leaves my mouth (especially when driving in rush hour traffic) is something a little less desirable. I would rather have a beer with the boys after school at the pub than have tea and cucumber sandwiches with granny. I dont like wearing make up or high heeled shoes, and find dressing up for an occasion a novelty rather than the norm.

I just did this test, and it confirmed I was a tomboy and ready for anything....such is life :) Directly from the site.....

You're ready for anything! You're a tomboy!

Ha! Just when we thought the only place where women can to do whatever they like is a sanitary towel ad, we find you bursting onto the scene. We know that you've got a great sense of fun so we hope you won't mind being labelled as a tomboy. After all, we're sure that you can remind your male mates that you're 'a lady' with eyelash fluttering ease. Let's face it, women do all the same things as men, we're just better at it. We check out the scenery just as much, we're just better at being subtle and can appreciate a wider variety of physical traits. Our farts don't smell of roses, it's just that we don't choose to make this information public unless we're really caught unawares and then we blame men anyway. There are some ladies who may look down on the way you drink pints or dare to venture out without a handbag, let alone one that doesn't match your new coat. But let's face it, you've got better things to dance round at the end of an evening spent boozing with the boys – a pole perhaps?!

Maybe one day Ill become more of a lady...he he he. Anyway if you are at home on a Saturday night, have a look at this programme. It like lady idol.
